For foreign medical graduates, Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education will accept only those who have a J-1 Visa sponsored by the ECFMG.

According to the ruling by the Immigration Service, international medical graduates with J-1 visas are permitted to complete only one year as a fellow in clinical neurophysiology, as CNP fellowships are accredited for one year by the ACGME.

Applications for each academic year, which begins in July or November, should be completed by August 15.

If you are considered for an appointment, you will be asked to visit Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale for an interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted in September each year.
