The Division of Nephrology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester is one of the world's largest groups of practicing nephrologists. Each year, our integrated team of 37 nephrologists and hypertension specialists, two physician assistants, two nurse practitioners, dialysis nurses, patient care and dialysis technicians, renal dietitians and social workers provide care for more than 4,000 patients with a variety of kidney diseases.

Faculty
In addition to caring for patients in their clinical practices, Mayo Clinic's faculty members are committed to teaching and facilitating the growth of medical knowledge. Many of our faculty have published and lectured extensively and are highly regarded in their field. You will have direct access to the Nephrology faculty at Mayo Clinic in Rochester throughout your training.

Visiting Professors
Many prominent professors visit Mayo Clinic each year. They present their work during noon and/or morning lectures and participate in hospital rounds. You will be encouraged to take full advantage of these opportunities.
