Clinical Training
Your clinical training will take place at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale and Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix. A typical rotation schedule for the fellowship includes:

Outpatient PM&R Musculoskeletal 6 months
Anesthesia Pain Clinic 4 months
Hand Clinic 1 month
Radiology 1/2 day per week for 2 months
Research 1/2 day per week (optional)
Electives 1 months

 

Didactic Training
During the Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Fellowship, you will have the opportunity to teach residents in Scottsdale and from Mayo Clinic in Rochester through the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department. A weekly educational conference is provided, as well as a monthly journal club. Grand Rounds are held every Friday.

Research Training
You will be encouraged to complete a clinical research project during the fellowship, with time dedicated each week for project preparation. Staff will provide mentorship on the project and assist with protocol development and approval through the Institutional Review Board.
