The eight full time doctoral-level Clinical
Microbiology staff are board certified and have many year's
experience in the fields of diagnostic microbiology and infectious
diseases. They are also engaged in applied research to create new
diagnostic clinical laboratory tests to identify or monitor disease,
disease processes, or treatment of disease. They will be directly
involved in your training.
The Clinical Microbiology Division performs approximately 1.5 million
laboratory tests each year for Mayo Medical Laboratories and Mayo
Clinic's practices in Jacksonville, Fla., Rochester, Minn. and
Scottsdale, Ariz.
