Positions
Two positions are available for the Ph.D. Program each year. With the current
schedule, two candidates for these positions are filled every other
year (i.e. two positions available for beginning July, 2009).
Each year one position is available in the M.D. Program on a competitive
basis.
How to Apply
MSGME does not process printed applications to this program. To apply, you need to use the third-party application service, Apply Yourself.
In addition to the standard application materials required by MSGME, this program requires the following additional supporting materials to be submitted with your online application:
- A letter of recommendation from your residency
program director
Applications for each academic year, which usually begins in July,
should be completed January 4, 2008 for the 2009 Ph.D. Program, and September 30, 2008, for the M.D. Program.
If you are considered for an appointment, you may be asked to visit
Mayo Clinic in Rochester for an interview with the program director
and selected faculty. Interviews will be conducted February through March, 2008 for the 2009 Ph.D. Program, and April through May, 2008 for the 2009 M.D. Program.
