Specialists in Geriatric Medicine at Mayo Clinic work as part of Internal Medicine’s Division of Primary Care. Geriatricians work to manage all aspects of elderly patient's general health care needs. They also provide referrals to Mayo specialists, according to each patient's needs.

Faculty
Each faculty member is committed to patient care, research and education in his or her daily practices. Our consultants conduct daily bedside teaching rounds and are available to give advice or assistance.

Advisors and Mentors
You will be assigned a faculty advisor who can provide comprehensive educational advice and personal support. Your advisor also will serve as a contact point, introducing you and your family to Rochester and the Mayo Clinic system.

Visiting Professors
Many prominent professors visit Mayo Clinic each year. They present their work during noon and/or morning lectures and participate in hospital rounds. You will be encouraged to take full advantage of these opportunities.
