Thank you for your interest in the Gastroenterology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. We offer an experience designed to provide the best educational and experiential elements necessary for you to become a fully trained consultative gastroenterologist.

Our gastroenterology team is one of the top-ranked in the country. We are committed to providing the most innovative treatments to our patients, translating our research discoveries to improve patient care, and training expert clinicians and physician-scientists.

Our program offers two distinct tracks: a three-year Clinical Scholar Track or a three-and-a-half-year NIH-sponsored track. Both tracks can be tailored to meet your specific interests and needs.

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is fortunate to have physicians and clinical investigators with interests and expertise in all major areas of digestive diseases.

Our practice of multidisciplinary care ensures you will have access to world leaders across many specialty areas throughout your training. Mayo Clinic has leading-edge practice facilities, which include state-of-the-art GI endoscopy procedure rooms, inpatient and outpatient facilities, and a "filmless" radiology system that utilizes digitized imaging for procedures.

At Mayo Clinic, we are at the forefront of patient care and scientific discovery. You will use some of the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools available anywhere in the world. We can teach you health care that is unsurpassed anywhere in terms of innovation, quality and compassion you would expect from a world leader.

We encourage you to explore our Web site and contact us if you have any questions about our program.
