Program Description
The three-year Family Medicine Residency Program at Mayo Clinic
in Jacksonville, Fla., offers training for family physicians who
want to assume responsibility for the total health care of individuals
and families.
The Family Medicine Residency offers you:
- A comprehensive education emphasizing the management
and treatment of common problems encountered by family physicians.
- An emphasis on treating the whole patient and
their family on an ongoing basis.
- A supportive environment with a well-rounded
faculty.
Accreditation
The Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education
(ACGME) accredits the Family Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic in
Jacksonville.
Certification
You will be eligible to take the American Board of Family
Practice examination upon completion of the residency.
