Qualifications
Applicants will only be considered if they satisfy the requirements for certification set by the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG). These requirements include having completed at least two years of an ACGME-accredited residency program in a recognized specialty (such as Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, OG-GYN, etc.). Foreign applicants may petition the ABMG to have their residency training (which may have been overseas) approved. Such applicants must be ECFMG-certified, and must have passed the USMLE, steps 1-3.
