Clinical Resources

Mayo Clinic’s three clinical practices and extensive regional health system comprise the largest integrated private group practice in the world. As such, the clinical resources available to you as a Mayo resident or fellow are unparalleled.

As a Mayo resident or fellow, you'll learn the latest, most advanced patient care practices and diagnostic testing methods.

When necessary, you'll also have access to Mayo's extensive research resources and several well-staffed research core facilities.

Patient Care at Mayo
Each Mayo Clinic practice – Jacksonville, Rochester and Scottsdale – provides care for patients from throughout the world, as well as the surrounding communities and regions.

Mayo’s patients come seeking comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for common and rare medical conditions. For those with complex medical problems, Mayo often represents the best hope.

Occasionally, you will hear media reports of celebrities and world leaders who have received care at Mayo Clinic. The majority of patients, however, are not famous. At Mayo, all patients receive the same excellent care and are treated with the greatest respect, compassion and confidentiality.

As an integral member of the health-care team, you will share an increasing level of responsibility throughout your training in the care of Mayo’s diverse patients.
