Clinical Training
The Advanced Clinical Dermatology Fellowship focuses on solid, strong clinical training. Your clinical training will be spent in the Department of Dermatology, where you will see patients for two days per week, providing clinical diagnosis and practice management in your chosen area of expertise.
Research Training
You will perform hands-on clinical investigation or engage in academic pursuits three days per week. You will learn scientific methods and clinical research design. Areas of research will include clinical diagnosis and management, clinical trials, clinical research design and an independent research project.
Mayo Clinic provides excellent facilities for clinical, epidemiologic and bench research. You will be expected to participate in at least one substantial research project.
