Mayo Medical School offers Med School 101 — Rochester, a free public seminar that provides valuable information and tips about applying to medical schools.

Med School 101 — Rochester includes information about:
- Preparing for medical school and the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)
- Choosing schools
- Completing the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) application
- Financial aid forms
- Volunteering and community service
Following the formal presentations, a Mayo Medical School student panel hosts a question-and-answer session. Light breakfast is provided.
