Rochester is 10 miles north of Interstate 90 and approximately 50 miles east of Interstate 35.
U.S. Highway 52 connects Rochester to the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn., which are approximately 80 miles to the northwest.
U.S. Highways 14 and 63 also intersect the city.
