Each recommender listed on the additional information form must submit a ratings sheet. Ratings sheets from other institutions may not be substituted for the Mayo Clinic M.D.-Ph.D. ratings sheet.Back to top
What are the MCAT requirements?
Applicants must have a current MCAT exam (within three years of matriculation). MCAT scores from 2014, 2015 and 2016 will be accepted for the 2017 admissions cycle.Back to top
Are Advanced Placement (AP) credits accepted?
The MSTP accepts AP credits if they are accepted by your degree-granting institution and are applied toward your degree requirements.Back to top
Are GRE scores required?

Are international students eligible to apply?
No. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States or Canada at the time of application. Foreign nationals, regardless of visa status, are currently ineligible for admission.Back to top
If I am not selected for the MSTP, will I be considered for the M.D.-only program at Mayo Clinic?
If you are not selected to interview for the MSTP, you may be considered for the M.D.-only program at Mayo Clinic. There is a checkbox at the bottom of the secondary application.Back to top
