Admission requirements for the Ph.D. Program include a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, a strong background in the basic sciences and prior research experience. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE - School Code 6444 - Department Code 0299) General Test also is required and scores should reflect strong academic ability. Foreign applicants must submit their scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL - School Code 6444 - Department Code 30).

Applications will be accepted starting in August of 2008 for Fall 2009 enrollment.

Applications are now closed for the Fall 2008 term.

A complete applications includes:

  • A personal statement
  • Official transcripts of courses from each college or university attended
  • At least three letters of recommendation (including letters from research mentors)
  • Your latest GRE report

The application fee is $30. The most qualified applicants will be invited to interview. Applications received after the deadline may be considered on a space-available basis.
