Over the past decade, Mayo Clinic has recognized the fundamental role that advances in research have wrought in biology and technology, and ultimately how these advances will transform modern medicine. Therefore, Mayo Clinic has invested in a training program specifically for its doctoral staff and trainees.

As such, Mayo Clinic has made major commitments to state-of-the-art research laboratories, and biotechnology and computational resources. More importantly, Mayo Clinic continually invests in human resources, expanding its cadre of talented scientists who work on pivotal research discoveries and methodologies, and translate a spectrum of findings into novel clinical applications, ranging from diagnosis to therapy.

Mayo Clinic’s Clinical Research Training Program is specifically designed for Mayo Clinic staff and trainees and provides many advantages over other programs. Among the reasons students choose Mayo Clinic include:

  • World-renowned academic medical center

  • Extraordinary research resources and support

  • Outstanding faculty, representing literally any research area

  • Collaborative and collegial environment

Clinical research education at Mayo utilizes existing clinical research resources, and draws trainees from many dynamic training programs, including:
