Mayo Clinic's three practices and regional health system (Mayo Health System) comprise the largest integrated private group practice in the world. As such, the clinical resources you'll experience as a Mayo medical student are unparalleled.

Mayo Clinic Rochester provides care for patients from throughout the world. The majority of patients, however, live within a few hundred miles of the clinic. They come to Mayo seeking comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for a full range of very common as well as extremely rare medical conditions.

Occasionally, you will hear through the media of celebrities and world leaders who have received care at Mayo Clinic. The majority of patients, however, are not famous. At Mayo, all patients receive the same excellent care and are treated with the greatest respect, compassion and confidentiality. Almost all Mayo patients are available for education purposes.
