Mayo Clinic's Department of Urology in Scottsdale provides consultation, diagnosis and treatment for all malignant and benign urologic diseases in male and female patients in both pediatric and adult age groups.
Approximately 12,000 patients are seen annually in Scottsdale 's Urology Department and more than 5,400 procedures are performed.
In addition to caring for patients in their clinical practices, Mayo Clinic's faculty members are committed to teaching and facilitating the growth of medical knowledge. Many of our faculty have published and lectured extensively and are well regarded in their field. You will have direct access to these individuals throughout your training program.

You will choose a mentor to serve as your advocate in academic, clinical and personal arenas. Academic progress is monitored and residents with academic/staff potential are identified early and recommended to the department.
Prominent adult and pediatric urologists visit Mayo Clinic each year as visiting professors. Their visits include formal presentations at evening lectures as well as participation in conferences, surgery and hospital rounds. You will be encouraged to take full advantage of these opportunities.
