The two-year Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, provides major clinical emphasis in all aspects of urologic oncologic surgery. During the first year, you have the opportunity to perform basic science, clinical and outcomes research. The program can be tailored to reflect your individual interests. The second year of the fellowship is dedicated to clinical training.
The primary goal of the fellowship is for each graduate to obtain an academic position in urology after completing this training program.

The Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, began in 1986. Since then, more than 30 physicians have completed the program. Currently, two trainees complete the program annually.
