How to apply
The academic year begins in July, but alternative start dates are available if needed.
The application and all supporting documentation must be submitted by Oct. 1 of the year preceding the program start date.
You must apply through the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine (APM).
Visit the APM website to download the Common Application for PM Fellowship Position. All applications to Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials. In addition, we require a photo.
Complete the application form and send with the required application materials to Amber Pearson, Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship education coordinator.
We invite applications from holders of J-1 and H-1B visas.
Appointments are made through the Psychiatry Fellowship Match, which is sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). You must register for the match in addition to applying through APM.
Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted between September and December each year.
