Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., offers a one-year Special Coagulation Fellowship that provides instruction covering the physiology of normal hemostasis, disorders of hemostasis — including both hemorrhagic and thrombotic diathesis — and their management, as well as the laboratory tests used to evaluate and diagnose disorders of hemostasis.
During your training, you are exposed to the entire spectrum of coagulation tests. Additional training is available in the areas of hematopathology, molecular pathology, coagulation, thrombophilia and transfusion medicine.
This fellowship is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
The Special Coagulation Fellowship at Mayo Clinic began in July 2013.
