Application Process

There is one position available on a competitive basis each year in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship.

How to apply

You must apply through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for Fellowship Applicants.

For the 2018 fellowship position, candidates may begin using ERAS for Fellowship Applicants beginning Nov. 15, 2016, and the application deadline is May 31, 2017. The fellowship position begins in July each year.

  1. To apply to the program, visit the ERAS for Fellowship Applicants website. All applications must include the ERAS Common Application Form, where you describe your activities with professional societies, publications, and any other relevant information about your education or experience. Any information you would put on your curriculum vitae should be included.

All applications to Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education programs also must include these standard application materials. In addition, note that this fellowship requires:

    • At least four original letters of recommendation. One letter must be from your residency program director, one must be from your obstetrics and gynecology department chair, and two must be from other faculty members (one of whom should be a member of the obstetrics and gynecology department).
    • Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) examination scores. Send a copy of your exam score reports via U.S. mail or email to the address below to be added to your ERAS fellowship application locally (not accepted by ERAS for scanning). Include score reports from PGY 1-3 if you are still in residency and PGY 1-4 if you have completed residency training.
