The Neuro-Oncology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota, is a two-year fellowship aligned with the Neuro-Oncology Program of the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center and the Mayo Clinic Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCaTS).
The first year of the fellowship provides clinical experience, while the second year is oriented toward clinical or laboratory-based training.
Mayo Clinic provides opportunities for course work in the design of clinical research studies, statistics, clinical epidemiology, and clinical trials design and conduct. You also have the opportunity to participate in clinical research studies of new drug therapies and are encouraged to develop your own independent research projects. As the fellowship is aligned with the Mayo Clinic CCaTS, you can enroll in either the diploma or master's degree program.
The Neuro-Oncology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic was established in 2007. It is anticipated that at least one fellow will participate in the program every year.
