The quality and commitment of our faculty sets Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science apart. Hundreds of clinicians and researchers, many who are leaders in their field, serve as faculty members within the five schools in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
These faculty members choose to work with students and are committed to mentoring and ensuring the success of the next generation of medical and biomedical research leaders.
Each student within the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science programs will benefit from:
- Mentoring through all stages of training. While students are assigned an adviser to serve as a mentor as they progress through their training, every faculty member that students work with, whether in the clinical or research setting, serves as a mentor and provides guidance.
- Small class sizes that ensure individualized attention. In a smaller class, students have the opportunity to work more closely with faculty and fellow students, and the faculty has more flexibility to adapt the curriculum to meet students' needs and interests.
- Collaborative academic environment. Students have access to faculty members in a broad range of clinical and research areas and are encouraged to explore all learning opportunities in order to develop their own skills and achieve their education and career goals.
