Federal Pell Grant (Undergraduate programs only)

The Federal Pell Grant is based on financial need as determined by the information submitted on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The maximum amount for the 2003-2004 academic year is $4,050 with a minimum amount of $400.

Mayo School of Health Science Need-Based Grant Award

This award program is designed to assist students in funding the cost of their education. The selection criterion for this award is based on a formula that evaluates student-documented financial need. These award amounts vary annually and are made possible by generous benefactor contributions to Mayo School of Health Sciences. Awards are determined by the MSHS Scholarship Committee. Students are notified of the award via a revised student award letter.

Outside Scholarships

Mayo School of Health Sciences is informed of several outside scholarships throughout the year. As these scholarships become available, notices will be sent via student e-mail. Other scholarships are available from community service organizations and medical societies. Another helpful resource is www.fastweb.com, which is a free national scholarship search site.
