Dean's Outstanding Achievement Scholarships
This scholarship provides full-tuition scholarship support to the students who have demonstrated the most outstanding achievements. The Admissions Committee determines recipients of this award. Continuation of the scholarship is contingent upon the student making satisfactory progress through the curriculum.

Merit Scholarships
Based on the high number of well-qualified applicants Mayo Medical School receives each year, each matriculating student has certainly earned the designation of meritorious student. The provisions of Merit Scholarships are for all eligible students not receiving full-tuition scholarship support from other sources. The Admissions Committee determines recipients of this award. Continuation of the scholarship is contingent upon the student making satisfactory progress through the curriculum.

Need-Based Grant Funds
Funds provided by generous benefactors through Mayo's Department of Development support a number of grants awarded to students based on need. Need-based grants are awarded after matriculation to students with demonstrated financial needs.
