The Director for the College of Medicine Office for Diversity will coordinate and integrate efforts supporting Education’s strategic goal to maximize diversity, working in concert with schools and units. Current and future activities seek to optimize recruitment, matriculation, acculturation, and retention of learners.
The College of Medicine has created a new Office for Diversity to facilitate ongoing and new diversity initiatives. The Office was created in response to a directive from the Mayo Clinic Rochester Executive Board to advance diversity across all the schools and units of the College of Medicine.
The initial three-year pilot phase of the College of Medicine Office for Diversity targets efforts in Rochester, and is a joint project of the Rochester Education Committee and the Mayo Clinic Education Committee. |
