Bioinformatics Consulting
The Mayo Clinic Center for Translational Science Activities (CTSA) provides bioinformatics training and one-on-one consultations for investigators and study teams.
Classroom-based courses
The CTSA partners with the Division of Biomedical Statistics and Informatics to offer hands-on, in-person training classes on bioinformatics software (e.g. Partek GS, GeneSpring GX, MetaCore, Ingenuity). These courses are intended for researchers who want to learn about principles and methods of data analysis using bioinformatics software and databases.

One-on-one consultations
One-on-one appointments with Dr. Leontovich are available at no charge for investigators and study teams seeking guidance that goes beyond CTSA bioinformatics training classes and modules. However, one-on-one appointments do not include data analysis. Mayo investigators in need of data analysis services should contact the Department of Health Sciences Research (requires that you be logged in to the Mayo network).
Personal consultations are meant as an extension of classroom and online training. Individuals should have a basic understanding of bioinformatics principles — including having viewed the online tutorials and attended several training classes — before scheduling an appointment.
