Mayo Clinic CCaTS announces two new online education programs

Research Applications for Practice Improvement Decisions (RAPID) Certificate Program

A new online Research Applications for Practice Improvement Decisions (RAPID) Certificate Program is launching in July 2014. RAPID is a streamlined program providing participants with the ability to use research methods and succeed in this new environment of practice improvement.

RAPID is ideal for residents and fellows who are seeking didactic training to help them conduct research or the practice improvement activities that are now an ongoing requirement for maintenance of certification. RAPID is for participants who don't have the time to commit to scheduled course work or complete a research project as required in our more intensive programs. RAPID can be started at any time and can be completed according to your schedule.

Fundamentals of Clinical and Translational Science (FunCaTS) Program

A new online Fundamentals of Clinical and Translational Science (FunCaTS) program also has been launched and is currently available. FunCaTS introduces participants to research concepts and terminology that support evidence-based care. You can enroll in this program at any time and complete it according your schedule. FunCaTS can also provide continuous professional development credits if you desire.

Please review all of your CCaTS educational options below to determine the program that will best match your needs. Email Laura E. Ernste, CCaTS education specialist, if you have further questions.
