CTSA Congratulates Newest Ph.D. Candidate
Scott Michael Thompson
The Mayo Clinic Center for Translational Science Activities (CTSA) extends its congratulations to Scott Thompson, who will be joining the Clinical and Translational Science track in Mayo Graduate School's M.D.-Ph.D. program on Feb. 17.
Currently a student in the CTSA/Mayo Medical School collaborative M.D.-M.S. program, Thompson says he applied to the M.D.-Ph.D. program because "further research training will provide me with the knowledge and skills necessary to become an effective, independent investigator, and will allow me to collaborate with my future colleagues in the basic and clinical sciences in an interdisciplinary manner to translate research findings into better clinical practice."
