CCaTS appoints Christi A. Patten, Ph.D., as director of Community Engagement
The Center for Clinical and Translational Science's (CCaTS) Community Engagement in Research Program is pleased to announce Christi A. Patten, Ph.D., as the new director for Community Engagement in Research.
Previously, Dr. Patten served as the associate director for Community Engagement. Dr. Patten is a research consultant in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology and a professor of psychology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.
"I'm looking forward to building partnerships between the communities served by Mayo Clinic and its researchers to ensure that community engagement becomes the norm in translational research," says Dr. Patten.
Victor M. Montori, M.D., the previous director of Community Engagement, will continue in his role as director of Late-Stage Translation for CCaTS.
