Course Registration
While in the Postdoctoral Certificate Program, you will complete all of your course work through Mayo Graduate School. As such, you must register for courses through Mayo Graduate School.
Required course work for the Postdoctoral Certificate Program begins each year in July, with Mayo Graduate School course registration opening approximately one month before the start of the quarter.
For the program start date of July 2, 2012:
- Regular registration runs from May 29, 2012, through June 15, 2012.
- Late registration begins June 16, 2012. The last day of the late registration period varies based on the start date of each particular class.
Registration process
If you applied for the March 1 deadline and are now admitted to the Postdoctoral Certificate Program, use the Mayo Graduate School course registration form to register for the appropriate courses.
If you plan to apply for the Sept. 1 deadline, you will need to begin taking program course work prior to applying (see the application process page for further details). Using the Mayo Graduate School course registration form, register for the appropriate courses and indicate in the "degree pursuing" box that you are a nondegree candidate.
All scholars applying for courses within the late registration window should use the Mayo Graduate School late registration or course withdrawal form.
Course listings
To assist you with course planning, Mayo Graduate School offers a listing of the upcoming quarter's courses and section numbers (which you must include on your registration form), as well as a complete listing of all its courses. Visit the Mayo Graduate School intranet site to view these listings (must be logged in to the Mayo network).
Additionally, the CTSA maintains an online listing of Mayo Graduate School's clinical and translational science courses (CTSC prefix) for the current and next quarter.
