While in the Postdoctoral Certificate Program, you will complete all of your course work through Mayo Graduate School. Course registration opens approximately one month before the start of the quarter, and students register for courses through Self-Service Banner.
You are encouraged to participate in no more than 50 percent of your program credits prior to admission into the Postdoctoral Certificate Program.

Notice to students applying to the certificate program: If you are applying to the certificate program in March, course work begins in summer quarter. If you apply in September, course work is expected to begin in winter quarter. Several required courses are offered in both the summer and winter quarters and serve as prerequisites for many other Mayo Graduate School courses:
- CTSC 5300: Introduction to Clinical Epidemiology
- CTSC 5310: Clinical Epidemiology II
- CTSC 5600: Statistics in Clinical Research
