Why evaluate?
Data about student outcomes is a key indicator of whether the CTSA is achieving its overall goal of improving human health.
What's evaluated?
The CTSA evaluates student outcome data, including publications, grants (submitted and awarded), leadership activities, patents and awards.
How's the data analyzed?
Statistical software, such as SPSS, JMP and NVivo, is used to support data analysis.
How are results used?
CTSA leadership uses the results to determine if programs are achieving their predetermined outcome goals.
