Outcomes

Why evaluate?: Data about student outcomes is a key indicator of whether the CTSA is achieving its overall goal of improving human health.
What's evaluated?: The CTSA evaluates student outcome data, including publications, grants (submitted and awarded), leadership activities, patents and awards.
How's the data analyzed?: Statistical software, such as SPSS, JMP and NVivo, is used to support data analysis.
How are results used?: CTSA leadership uses the results to determine if programs are achieving their predetermined outcome goals.
