Mentorship

Why evaluate?
One of the key strengths of the CTSA is the supervision and guidance that mentors provide for students and scholars. The program evaluator monitors mentoring relationships to ensure they are meeting productivity standards.
What's evaluated?
Mentors, those being mentored and their relationships are evaluated using both summative and formative methods.
How's the data analyzed?
The CTSA director of evaluation collects and analyzes all mentorship data.
How are results used?
Results are used by mentors and those being mentored — and CTSA leaders, managers and administrators — to improve mentorship within the CTSA.
