Education Evaluation Subcommittee
The Center for Translational Science Activities (CTSA) Education Evaluation Subcommittee oversees all evaluation activities in CTSA Education Resources. This includes evaluating the predoctoral, postdoctoral, clinical research coordination and continuous professional development programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and tracking all outcome data for CTSA graduates, such as publications, grants (submitted and awarded), patents, academic promotions and professional activities
- Evaluating all clinical and translational science (CTSC prefix) courses in Mayo Graduate School and all clinical research coordination courses offered by the CTSA
- Evaluating mentorship using both formative and summative methods
- Evaluating and tracking the educational progress of all students and scholars
- Evaluating several other programs overseen by the CTSA, including an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act supplement and the Integrated Science Education Outreach (InSciEd Out) program
The Education Evaluation Subcommittee meets on the second Thursday of each month and reports to the CTSA Education Resources Executive Committee. It works collaboratively with all programs and committees.
