Multidisciplinary Update in Breast Diseases
November 18 - 21, 2009

Course Description: This three-day continuing medical education course will provide a multidisciplinary update in prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, management and treatment of benign and malignant breast diseases and survivorship issues.

Pre-Coues Workshop: In conjunction with the course, there will be a pre-course workshop. This pre-course hands-on workshop for surgeons, radiologists, and radiation safety officers is designed to provide a simulated environment for the placement of live seeds in the breast cancer patient. The workshop will consist of didactic as well as hands-on skills sessions. The didactic portion of the workshop will discuss establishing a seed program, coding and billing, and radiation safety considerations. The skills sessions will include simulations for surgeons to excise live seeds and a radiologist specific placement of seeds simulation. Radiation safety officers may attend either skills session.

Women's Health Update 2010
March 4 - 6, 2010

Menopausal Medicine
March 25 - 27, 2010

This three half-day course reviews the changing concepts in the care of the mature woman. A series of case-based lectures includes the latest knowledge about the unique aspects of medical care for the menopausal woman. The emphasis is on the integration of metabolic, hormonal, and neuropsychologic aspects of aging. There will be opportunities for discussion with the audience about these issues and to address specific problems. The faculty includes thought leaders in the various fields of menopausal medicine.
