The Multidiciplinary Update in Breast Disease provides updates on benign and malignant breast disease, including evaluation, management and state of the art treatments. The SEED multidisciplinary educational workshop is designed to teach a new technique for the localization and surgical management of breast cancer. The workshop will consist of didactic as well as an optional hands-on skills session. Topics include: Radiation safety issues and protocols, Coding and Billing, How to begin a seed program at your institution, Lessons learned-How to stay out of trouble. If you're unable to attend the onsite course, you can participate virtually through Second Life, an online virtual world in which people are represented by characters (avatars) that interact with each other and the environment of the virtual world. This course is being offered in Second Life and will feature the same leading experts who are presenting at the onsite symposium in real time.
