Accreditation
Mayo Clinic College of Medicine (MCCM) is accredited by the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing
medical education for physicians. MCCM designates these educational
activities for category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition
Award.
Educational offerings are subject to rigorous needs assessments,
ensuring relevant topics and useful education. All courses are planned
and implemented in accordance with the Essential
Areas and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing
