The Mayo Clinic Regional Visiting Faculty Program (RVFP) is a valuable
continuing medical education resource made available to regional
medical audiences. The program enables practicing clinicians, surgeons,
residents and other medical professionals to learn from Mayo Clinic
experts.
The RVFP offers flexible formats tailored to your needs. An emphasis
is placed on helping today's medical professionals understand and
apply the latest research and evidence-based care protocols to improve
patient outcomes.
Arranging an on-site program is simple and highly cost-effective.
Faculty
Sharing medical and scientific innovations and knowledge
is a core value and tradition at Mayo Clinic. The RVFP faculty is
comprised of members of Mayo Clinic's clinical, scientific and technical
staffs. They are chosen for their commitment to teaching as well
as their medical, surgical and/or research expertise. All faculty
members hold academic rank within Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.
Fee
The fees charged for the RVFP reflect only the actual costs
of materials, transportation, meals, lodging (when necessary), and
a modest honorarium for the speaker.
Prepayment is not required. An invoice for the cost of the presentation
will be sent following the program. Mayo Foundation for Medical
Education and Research is a not-for-profit organization.
Note: The Mayo Clinic Regional Visiting Faculty Program
is currently offered at Mayo Clinic Arizona, and not at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla. or Rochester, Minn.
