This course provides urologists with a comprehensive update on the field of clinical urology. Our physicians are leaders in clinical research that enhances our capability to offer the most advanced treatments. We are developing novel therapies for treatment of advanced urologic cancers. Our vast clinical experience and ongoing research into minimally invasive procedures are reflected in our low complication rates and improved outcomes. The department is composed of 18 clinical urologists and three basic science researchers. Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., is ranked among the Best Hospitals for Urology by U.S. News & World Report. The diagnosis and management of many urologic diseases have been dramatically influenced by recent medical, surgical, and technological advances.
