Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Demonstrate dissection techniques to the retroperitoneum with increased mastery of pelvic anatomy.
  • Apply techniques utilizing up-to-date devices and technologies to facilitate performance of procedures vaginally, laparoscopically, and robotically.
  • Identify how to avoid and manage complications during pelvic surgery.
  • Assess applications of the newest technologies in pelvic surgery, including the use of barbed sutures and single-port laparoscopy.
  • Apply the most current evidence-based treatment and management of leiomyomas, adnexal masses, endometriosis and adenomyosis.
