MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION (MOC) SELF-ASSESSMENT MODULES IN ORTHOPEDICS AND NEUROSURGERY
Concurrent Orthopedic and Neurosurgery sessions will allow registrants to take a self assessment specialty exam and participate in a lively, faculty led, discussion of the questions and the correct responses. Participants who wish to earn self assessment CME from AAOS or CNS will purchase the exams on-line from the appropriate society and the scores will be reported to the respective Boards. All registrants will receive CME credits from Mayo Clinic for participating in the discussion session. The goal of these sessions is to turn a tedious self assessment exercise into a fun, interactive learning experience.
The first 4-hour portion of these modules will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2010. The remaining four hours of each program will be held during one-hour breakfast sessions on each of the following four days.
Syllabus and Internet Access
An electronic course syllabus will be provided on a flash drive to all attendees. Participants are invited to bring their laptops to the meeting room.
