The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is located approximately 10 miles from Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM). The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman does not provide complimentary airport shuttle service, but other transportation options are available. Most major rental car companies operate just a short walk from the airport terminal, and Avis Car Rental is conveniently located on the fifth floor of the resort. Taxi cabs are also available; a one-way fare to The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is approximately $25. Rates are subject to change.
The U.S. State Department has proposed new rules requiring that effective Jan. 8, 2007, all individuals traveling by sea or air from Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean (with the exception of Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands) will require a passport or other accepted official form of identification to enter or re-enter the United States. As of Dec. 31, 2007, travelers entering or re-entering the United States from Canada or Mexico via land border crossings will be required to present a passport or other accepted official form of identification.
Driving in the Caymans: Please note traffic flow in the Grand Cayman is left-hand traffic, and traffic must keep to the left side of the road. An International Driver's Permit (IDP) is not required.

Watersport activities of every kind are offered, and the resort provides guests with complimentary use of snorkel gear, water trikes, kayaks, floating rafts and water hammocks. Golf and tennis are also featured on property for those up for a challenge, and guests of all ages will enjoy Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ambassadors of the Environment activities.
Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests with special course rates:
Resort view: $259 per night
Ocean front: $325 per night
Please note there is a daily resort fee of $20. The resort fee includes in-room internet service, valet parking, use of the fitness center, and many other services and amenities. There is a mandatory service charge of 10 percent per day; the service charge includes round-trip baggage handling and room attendant. No additional gratuity for bell service or housekeeping is required. All room rates are based on single or double occupancy. The maximum number of people per guest room is three adults or two adults and two children. Taxes are not included in the above-mentioned rates.
Reservations can be made by calling 866-763-2960 (toll-free) and identifying yourself as a participant in the Neuroradiology: Practice to Innovation course. Reservations may also be made online. Special group rates are offered Nov. 5, 2013, through Nov. 19, 2013, based on availability.
In order to receive the special rate, reservations must be made prior to Oct. 19, 2013. Reservations will be taken following this date based on space and rate availability.
Hotel check-in time is 4 p.m. on the day of arrival, and check-out time is at noon on the day of departure.
Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology CME Office is not responsible for expenses incurred by any individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting. Costs incurred by the registrant, such as airline or hotel fees or penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant.
Lodging arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
Valet parking is included in the resort fee. Complimentary self-parking is also available.
