Pulmonary Hypertension Update 2009

This one day course is designed to improve and update the knowledge of the evaluation and management of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It will enable the clinician to make an accurate diagnosis and determine the best treatment option for the patient. In addition, the clinician will understand and appreciate for the role of lung transplantation in the management of PAH so that patients can be appropriately counseled. Recommendations on appropriate referrals to PAH and Transplant Centers will be discussed. Case studies will be emphasized to illustrate practice principles.
