Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

• Summarize the physics of ultrasound
• Discuss the basic applications of point of care ultrasonography
• Describe the limitations of point of care ultrasonography in the patient care
• Demonstrate the basic knobology of portable ultrasound machines
• Apply appropriate image acquisition techniques
• Interpret normal and abnormal point of care ultrasonography images
