This course offers presentations and discussions on the current literature on practical use of ultrasonography, with a focus on cutting edge procedures that have a direct impact on patient care. Faculty will provide attendees with new data, procedures and techniques to advance their practice. Learn new techniques from expert faculty members using state-of-the art technology during our hands-on training session. The hands-on training session will help participants to improve their machine operation and image acquisition skills. We intend to provide participants with awareness and basic knowledge of these methods and their potential application in improving health care. This course has been approved as an equivalent of ACCP's Ultrasonography: Fundamentals in Critical Care. Upon conclusion of the course, participants will qualify to attend ACCP's advanced courses (Focused Pleural and Vascular Ultrasound, Critical Care Echocardiography), as part of the critical care ultrasonography certificate of completion program.
