Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Develop enhanced skills for engaging and assessing suicidal patients in a collaborative working relationship between patient and clinician
- Recognize signs and symptoms of imminent risk of self-harm
- Define the importance of clinician and patient developing a narrative of the patient's suicidality as the first stage in formulating a treatment plan
