Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

• Develop enhanced skills for engaging and assessing suicidal patients in a collaborative working relationship between patient and clinician
• Recognize signs and symptoms of imminent risk of self-harm
• Define the importance of clinician and patient developing a narrative of the patient's suicidality as the first stage in formulating a treatment plan
