Windows into Hope: Stories of Addiction and Recovery

This CME event is an innovative program meant to enhance the understanding of addiction through the use of a theatrical performance in association with the Guthrie Theater. This CME event will build on the success of the May 2012 Windows into Mood program held at the Guthrie Theater. This course will again utilize personal perspectives of addiction through Melissa Gilbert's description of addiction in herself and family member and via "Long Day's Journey into Night", the autobiographical classic by Eugene O'Neill. These powerful personal stories combined with latest information on addiction and treatment are meant to enhance understanding and emotional depth for clinicians.
