Knee Dislocation and Multi-ligament Knee Reconstruction

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Examine the dislocated or presumed dislocated knee with a thorough neurovascular assessment which may include advanced imaging
- Recognize the heterogeneity of the injury patterns and develop treatment plans for each of the treatment patterns that are commonly seen in the knee-dislocated patient
- Develop a treatment strategy for timing of surgical management and type of surgical management
- Perform multi-ligament knee reconstruction with regards to surgical technique, graft utilization and fixation strategies
