Orthopedic surgery courses feature renowned guests and Mayo Clinic faculty, using didactic lectures that are supplemented with video clips, live surgical cases, case discussions, simulations, panel discussions and hands-on workshops. Several courses include laboratory experience using human and animal cadaver specimens and videotaped surgery clips and cadaveric surgical dissection to demonstrate complicated surgical procedures.
